Certification and Insurance
Candidates successfully completing a course to the required standard will receive Helen McGuinness Health & Beauty Training International Certification, which is recognised by a number of professional Associations for membership and insurance. Please however always check with your own individual insuring companies for their requirements prior to undertaking any training course as we are unable to advise on all insuring companies specific requirements.
In order to ensure the best learning outcome for you, we only have small classes pf between 2 and 8 students per class depending on the skills being taught.
No. Students will work on each other initially and suitable models/ clients will be provided, as required.

NVQ (National Vocational Qualification) and VRQ (Vocationally Related Qualification)
We Have been accredited to offer Nationally recognised NVQ and VRQ qualifications through VTCT (Vocational Training Charitable Trust) for 25 years and where available and indicated on this site, students can optionally undertake assessment in order to achieve the relevant NVQ or VRQ certification in the subject they are studying.
Candidates wishing to achieve VTCT NVQ or VRQ certification may do so by paying the current assessment and registration fees (please see additional costs below), completing the necessary course work away from the Centre and successfully completing the required practical and written assessment relating to the award being undertaken. Detailed information and costs relating to NVQ and VRQ assessments are provided upon request.
Additional Costs if opting to take VTCT/ NVQ or VRQ Awards
For all qualifications, current assessment fees will depend on the qualification/s being undertaken and the assessment requirements for the qualification. Please contact us for current assessment / certification fees relating to the qualification/s you wish to undertake.
All courses include use of centre resources whilst you are at the centre unless otherwise stated. Students studying qualifications that require home practical work to be completed will need to purchase kits relevant for the home practical work.

All courses include a course manual.
Attendees should wear comfortable professional workwear with sensible enclosed shoes.
Attendees should have long hair tied back, wear minimal jewellery and have nails clean and unvarnished.
Please bring packed lunch and bottled water (shops are close at hand if you need to buy lunch on the day)
Course attendees should aim to arrive 15 minutes prior to course start times as courses will commence promptly at the schedules start time. Please note that late arrivals are inconsiderate of other attendees.
