Awarded by Qualifi and regulated by Ofqual, it gives Aesthetic practitioners the same, advanced Level 7 Aesthetic Practitioner qualification that medics receive, and is internationally recognised.
Upon successful completion of the Level 7 in Aesthetic Practice, you will:
- Be able to offer a range of Botulinum toxin injections (foundation and advanced) to a high professional clinic standard.
- Be able to offer a range of Dermal filler injections to a range of popular treatment areas to a high professional clinic standard.
- Be knowledgeable in Anatomy, physiology and Morphology of the Ageing face for proper client assessment and evaluation.
- Have the necessary Health, Safety, Infection Control, First Aid and Complications management skills for professional practice.

Level 7 Certificate in Aesthetic Practice
The Qualifi Level 7 Certificate in Aesthetics Practice is a professional qualification of 30 credits. It is based upon Health Education England (HEE) guidance relevant to the delivery of non-surgical cosmetic interventions.
This postgraduate, degree level qualification in injectables allows current and aspiring practitioners to meet Health Education England’s (HEE) 2016 Qualification Requirements for Delivery of Cosmetic Procedures. The achievement of a Level 7 in Aesthetic practice demonstrates to clients or potential employers that as an Aesthetic Practitioner you have achieved the accolade of the gold standard of Cosmetic Injectables qualifications.

Level 7 Certificate in Aesthetic Practice Course Overview
- A Level 5 Certificate in Aesthetic Practice.
- Degree or equivalent in related industry. i.e. Medical, Beauty, Aesthetics.
- Current and valid Basic Life Support (BLS) and anaphylaxis management training
Course Fees consist of tuition, assessment and registration fees. These are dependant on whether you need to take all course modules or whether you undertake the RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning) route.

- Full Course – Tuition Fee £5,985 plus assessment and registration fees.
The course theory is delivered via an online learning platform, with face to face training for the practical elements.
It is estimated that the Level 7 Certificate in Aesthetic Practice will take approximately 300 hours to complete. This will consist of pre-study learning modules, post study research assignments and written questions (SAQs), clinical training (face to face) and mentoring and assessment session.
In order to meet the requirements of the L7 in Aesthetic practice, there are short answer questions (SAQs) and research based assignments to complete. SAQs and assignment are pre-set by Qualifi, and are internally marked, internally quality assured and externally quality assured by Qualifi.
As well as completing the set course work, you will be assessed by continual observation on the practical elements of the course, to ensure that you have all the knowledge that you will need to practice your skills professionally in commercial practice.

Upon successful completion of the course you will be awarded the Level 7 in Aesthetic Practice which is an Ofqual regulated qualification.

What skills will I learn doing the Level 7 in Aesthetic Practice ?
The core practical elements that make up the training will be Botulinum toxin injections (foundation and advanced), Dermal fillers (to lips, cheeks, nose to mouth, marionettes and perioral lines).
There is also comprehensive study of Aesthetic Consultation, Client Psychology, and Complications and emergency management.
What course work is required to achieve the Level 7 in Aesthetic Practice and how hard is it ?
As well as the practical assessments on the course, there are 2 written assignments to complete for the Level 7 in Aesthetic practice which require extensive research and study, as well as completion of short answer questions, which are designed to test your application of knowledge.
As this is a postgraduate level qualification the study and course work is very demanding, but is also very rewarding and worthwhile.

If I am already qualified can I apply for Recognition of Prior Learning ?
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is a method of assessment (leading to the award of credit) that considers whether learners can demonstrate that they can meet the assessment requirements for a unit through knowledge, understanding or skills they already possess, and so do not need to develop through a course of learning.
RPL will differ for each individual Practitioner.
If you can prove (to an acceptable standard) that you have the training and/or experience in a particular field / module in aesthetics, and can meet the requirements of the Award, then you can be credited for that part.
Through the process of RPL you can upgrade any existing certification, irrespective of where your original training was undertaken. This means you may be able to save time and money, but not having to complete parts of the course you have already completed.
We can advise you on RPL and whether this is the best route for you upon application and together we will develop a personalised plan which takes account of your experience and existing certificates, along with an action plan of what needs to be undertaken to achieve the Level 7 in Aesthetic Practice.
