Course Description

Advanced/ Intimate waxing is fast becoming a growth area in salons and well-trained therapists are highly sought after. This course is designed to enable experienced waxers to offer a range of intimate waxing service to their clients i.e. Brazilian/ Hollywoods.

Outline of Course Contents

Common definitions associated with intimate waxing
Understanding the use of hard (hot) wax
Health, safety and hygiene
Treatment timings and costings
Practical application and removal of hair from the intimate areas
Helpful hints to ensure an effective treatment with minimal trauma to the treatment area and client

Entrance Requirements - Candidates must be qualified in the warm waxing method of hair removal.

Duration - 1/2 day

Course Times - 9.30 am to 12.30 pm

Course Fee - £80

Certification - Certificate in Advanced (intimate) waxing awarded by

Helen McGuinness Health & Beauty Training International

plus option of

NVQ unit B26 Provide Female Intimate Waxing Services awarded by

Vocational Training Charitable Trust (VTCT)
